GOMEL, 19 December (BelTA) – Specialists from seven countries will take part in the international conference Innovative Technologies in the Agro-Industry that will be held at the sci-tech center of combine harvester manufacturing of OAO Gomselmash on 21-22 December, BelTA learned from the organizing committee.
Invitations to take part in the discussion on the expansion of the sci-tech cooperation in designing and launching the production of innovative competitive equipment for the agricultural sector have been sent to more than 100 representatives of Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine.
The program of the conference will include a plenary session and two workshops: Harvesting Machinery and Sci-Tech Cooperation and Tractors and Portable Power Devices. The agro-industrial engineering achievements will be displayed at an exhibition in OAO Gomselmash.
The sci-tech center of combine harvester manufacturing of OAO Gomselmash is one of the world's biggest engineering companies with a powerful intellectual, material and technical base. The center specializes in the development of sophisticated products for agriculture, healthcare and other sectors.
Gomselmash produces grain, fodder, earcorn and potato harvesters, mowers and other farming equipment under the trademark Palesse. In total, these are 16 types of farming machinery, 75 basic models and modifications, 70 types of adapters and devices to harvest different agricultural crops.
